Why: For over 40 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast has been in the forefront of youth development, working with young people that need us the most. In an effort to address health issues that plague youth, decrease crime in our community and low graduation rates, Boys & Girls Clubs provides a variety of programs that address 3 priority outcome areas; Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, along with Good Character and Citizenship. After school and during the summer, Club members have access to educational, artistic, and recreational activities. We take youth who need us most, address and meet their needs with an outcome driven Club experience to yield priority outcomes.

In 2015, Pensacola Clubs made a lasting impact on 298 young people from 5 to 18 years of age. We host after school and summer programs at 2 program sites: Englewood Center and Montclair Elementary school. The Pensacola Clubs supplement school day lessons and combats summer learning loss with fun, engaging, impactful programs such as Power Hour (homework help), field trips, S.T.E.M. activities, Club Tech, Career Launch and reading Club. Club membership gives them a fun, positive, supervised environment in which they can engage with peers and professional staff to sow seeds of good character, community service and the need for academic success.
We’re undertaking a full-court press to provide these life changing programs to the youth of Pensacola Clubs. Help make a difference and have fun at the same time.
It’s a slam dunk!
